But in the absence of the opportunity run any events in the first half of the 2020-21 season, QuidditchUK are hosting the inaugural British Quizzitch Cup.

This will be a community event to bring UK quidditch players and volunteers together for an evening of fun, trivia, and nostalgia for the days we used to be able to spend on a muddy field at ungodly hours of the morning.

Teams will compete for the chance to be crowned national champions of Quidditch Knowledge, with proceeds from the event split between a charity and QuidditchUK. 

We can't wait to get back on pitch again - but until then, we'd love to see some of you on Thursday 26th November to celebrate the quidditch community that we've all been missing - and compete for some prizes!

Register as an individual or as a team using the Google Form by Tuesday 24th November at 6pm. 

How can I participate?

No - teams can be comprised of quidditch players (or non-players!) from any clubs in the UK and beyond. No restrictions on who can participate!

Do we have to enter within our club?

Teams should be made up of 2-6 people. If you don't have a team - or would like to make some new friends - sign up as an individual and the committee will match you up with some others to make a team!

How many people can be in a team?

This is a community event and we wanted it to be accessible to all, so quiz entries are pay-what-you-like. Our suggested ticket price is £2, but if you want to contribute more or less you are welcome. Plus, for each £1 you pay, you'll receive one entry into the QuidditchUK merch raffle!

Is there an entry fee?

Payment details will be emailed to participants after they have registered.

How do I pay?

QuidditchUK will provide a shortlist of charities, which will be created based on suggestions that teams and individuals give in their registration forms. From this shortlist, the winning team of the quiz will get to choose which charity we donate the proceeds to.

What charity are the proceeds going to?

Aside from the winning team choosing the charity we donate to, prizes for both quiz success and winning the raffle will include a selection of QuidditchUK merch!

What are the prizes?

This announcement is just the first step as we prepare to host the European Games. For athletes and teams, details such as team and player registration, accommodation, and more will be posted shortly by the IQA. 

To the UK Quadball community, we will need all the help we can get to make this the biggest and best event possible - this is an incredible opportunity to help build the sport and anyone interested in volunteering should get in touch with the IQA or QUK.

London to host IQA European Games 2024

QuadballUK are welcoming three new faces into executive level roles. 


We're excited to have Sam Spencer from Southsea Quadball Club and Gemma Woolliscroft from Olympians Quadball Club join us as Gameplay Director and Secretary respectively!

After a year in the post, we are sad to say that Alex is stepping down as Vice President.  Alex first came into the position of Vice President whilst still a university student and has since graduated and is stepping away from the role so that she is able to dedicate her time to her job. Thank you Alex for your time in the role and all the hard work you've put towards it! 

With Alex stepping away, this means we are looking for a new Vice President. Alex has the following words to share about the role:

"It’s been an excellent opportunity to build skills for both inside and outside the role and to get more involved with the sport you care about. Building relationships within the community is key to the role and an absolute joy to fulfil as you will get to meet people within and outside of the UK that you never would have otherwise".

Alex steps down as Vice-President

QuadballUK is lead by the executive management team, who oversee the day-to-day operational and administrative work across a number of departments within the organisation. The team meet weekly to discuss recent developments, review and create new policies, and share new opportunities for growth or support to both quadball and our community. All of our members are dedicated volunteers, and work hard to make the sport the best it can be.

2023 has brought a new group of fresh faces and some familiar faces into new roles who are all dedicated to ensuring QUK continues to support the Quadball community.  

We are still looking for a Technology Director to join the team and lead key developments for QUK's website and the various systems we utlilise for membership, souting and scheduling.
