James Thanangadan stepping down as Team UK Head Coach

International

We’re sad to announce that James ‘JT’ Thanangadan has decided to step back from his role as Team UK Head Coach, in order to focus more on his own career and personal responsibilities.

JT has been instrumental in the development and improvement of coaching throughout the QuidditchUK community; leading Team UK to a bronze medal performance in the IQA European Games earlier this year as Head Coach, as well as his advice and offerings to quidditch athletes across the country.

We thank him for his tireless efforts, and wish him all the best moving forward.

With James stepping down, the current Assistant Coach, Jay Holmes, will serve as an Acting Head Coach while we look for a permanent replacement to coach and lead Team UK in the lead up to the IQA World Cup being held in the United States of America in summer 2020.

If you are interested in applying, you can find a job description and application form on the Volunteers Page.
