Quidditch at the University of Exeter started in summer 2014 under the name Exeter-Patronum with a small group of enthusiastic friends Captained by Ledicia Carp and Becky Parrock. It had brooms from a halloween shop but the beginnings of something great were there; members gradually built up and the team played its first ever match against Falmouth Falcons in January 2015.
We since renamed ourselves as the Exeter Eagles, and gone onto to compete competitively and socially throughout the years. We have produced many talented players, with two of members going on to compete for the UK National Team, we also have had our members compete in the Quidditch Premier League, and are proud to be able to say that members of our team have competed at high levels in every region of QPL.
We’re an open and friendly club, with a great social and competitive side; this year we are looking to rebuild our team and compete at a high level once again, with Kim Sparrow returning as Captain, and Alex Baker stepping up as our Head Coach.
